FAQ

What should I do to get ready for an organizing appointment?

Nothing! I am the ONE professional you'll bring into your home that you DON'T want to get ready for. Leaving things just the way they are (I know this is hard) so that I can literally "see" how you are living is the quickest way for us to get started.

I'm not sure I'm ready to feel so "exposed" to a complete stranger!?!

I completely understand! I believe judgment is between you & who you believe your maker to be!
A little secret about me?
I'm not a very good cook.
So, I can only imagine how difficult it would be to invite a chef into my home! When I arrive at a project I immediately begin looking for solutions. I bring understanding, patience & compassion to every situation!

Are your services like those shows on TV? You know, the ones where they put all the belongings outside?

NO, absolutely not! I believe strongly in privacy & confidentiality. Remember, those shows are created for their entertainment value. They rely on the drama to capture an audience. When we work together on a project everything is discreet from my unmarked car to my ability to blend in when friends or neighbors show up unexpectedly.

How does virtual organizing work?

Using a digital camera, your email & a phone call we book the first appointment.

24 hours before:
Take pictures of your space (as many as you like).
The day of the appointment:
Over the phone we'll discuss the areas that are frustrating for you. Once we've covered the Q&A, I'll assign you homework (things to do - with organizing strategies) and we'll plan our next session.

**NOTE: This type of service is only recommended for folks that have a 'can-do' attitude and feel confident working on their own with guidance.**

Why aren't there more "before" & "after" photos on you're site?

For most of my clients just bringing a complete stranger into their space is difficult enough, let along taking pictures of their stuff.

So, unless a client wants the before pictures we usually just get straight to work.

Many clients have wished in the end they would have taken pictures to record all their hard work, but they all still admit - they wouldn't have wanted their before & afters posted on the site. (I completely understand & respect that!)

How do I get on your ezine mailing list?

At this time, there is not a current ezine. In an effort to eliminate additional "electronic clutter" Simply Organized Online, LLC has decided to focus efforts on the content of the site. We hope you'll return often to see what is new.
