Helping a Hoarder


Currently, Simply Organized's April Welch, CPO has partnered with Daisha Kissel, CPO to work with individuals in creating a WA State Hoarding Task Force. In this journey it has been discovered that many in the state are helping hoarders, however, they do not know each other exists. It is the intent of the Task Force to bring all related professionals together & offer a well rounded forum of resources.

Greetings from the New England Hoarding Consortium,

 We are writing to see if we can find someone who would be willing to be interviewed about their hoarding problem by either Randy Frost or Gail Steketee for a national news program. This will NOT be a show involving cleanouts or crews of people showing up at your door, but an interview and tour of your home to provide viewers with a more in depth view of the problem without the pressure of a cleanout. It will coincide with the release of their new book, Stuff: Compulsive Hoarding and the Meaning of Things which is due out in April.
