Planner Pads
Finally a paper planner I can put the "Simply Organized Online Seal of Approval" on!!!
Going far beyond the typical planner these guys have thought of it all!
So things I love about the design:
They've laid it out a week at a time (per 2 page spread)
The week starts on Monday
The open layout is split in thirds
1) top: list area for projects or categories for the week
2) middle: to do list for each day
3) bottom: appointment area
Originally, finding success with the ADD community, I think they will soon find many Moms turning to their site as well.
As I tested the product myself I found the answer to the question many of my clients wondered about -
"Do I have to continue transferring my to do lists every week if I don't get them done?"
The simple answer, yes.
The long answer, I think the point is to get the individual to focus on just the tasks at hand for each week & learn to turn to the appropriate week for any overflow.
The audio that came with the planner did seem a little dated & could use a more specific explanation of this particular concern of customers. But all in all did it's job.
The clients I recommended this planner to (& have since began using) are all avid list makers that are working one-on-one with me to improve their to do lists through the G.O.A.L. Program.
That said, if you can teach yourself how to delegate tasks away from the mentality of "it needs to get done today/yesterday/this week", then you'll appreciate this planner as the tool it is meant to be!
I give this product a 4.75 out of 5!
Envirosax
It has officially been one year since I began using my Envirosax bags & love everything about them!
Like EVERONE else I was on the search for the ultimate reusable grocery bag - you know, the one that you didn't have to think about much but when you needed it ... there it was!
Viola! Enter Envirosax!
These nifty bags...
Have the capacity of two plastic grocery bags
Are extremely durable
Resiliant to kids (especially boys)
Fold & roll up to the size of your palm
Are quite fashionable
Uses I've found for mine...
Retrieving the mail from the P.O. Box
Holding a change of clothes (for after the train ride)
Toting miscellaneous items from the car to the house
Returning items to friends who are also trying to cut down on their plastic bag collection
Conversation starter (every cashier wants to know where I got mine!)
Book bag
Meeting bag
As you can see the list can go on & on!
The only trick with these guys is they don't fold & roll themselves up. (grin)
Yes, someday, someone will invent the perfect product that requires little of us (and will do the dishes too!), but until that day ~ we must learn the few habits that go along with owning such eco-conscious products.
The payoff?
You will no longer need to find new creative ways to store all those plastic grocery bags that seem to be multiplying like dustbunnies!
I give these a 5 out of 5!
Game Savers
And of course this product is a 5 out of 5!
